My capstone MSc project, Realtime Roads explores the use of real-time game engines to improve vehicle process on a virtual production set. With custom C++ tooling in Unreal Engine, film makers have more agency when shooting in virtual production through flexible real-time tools than when using traditional 2D vehicle plates.
